The hotel is literally right on a beautiful beach. The staff and owners are friendly, helpful, and kind. The food is good quality and very tasty. Whilst the menu is only in French, the team will help you translate and you can use Google translate as the Wi-Fi there works quite well. The hotel is rustic, so don’t expect a big western chain hotel. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. The air-con works and the mosquito net covers the whole bed properly to the floor. The beds are comfy and the rooms are dark due to the shutters. So you don’t get woken up by the sun. There is a safe in the room to keep valuables in. I’d highly recommend this hotel if you want a few days of doing nothing and chilling on the beach with a cocktail or beer.

We recently stayed at Keur Ama, and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The attention to detail and the hospitality were truly remarkable. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials. We appreciated the cozy bedding, the Wi-Fi, the Tv channels. The guest house itself is in a peaceful area, offering a much-needed retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The breakfast served was included in the price and honestly it was just what we needed (jam, coffee, Eggs, fruits, juices, Baguettes, Chocolate paste, Hot chocolate..) we also enjoyed the garden, swimming pool.. Overall, Keur Ama is perfect for anyone seeking a blend of comfort and affordability. Amazing, friendly vibe. It’s a small place so you get to know the other guests, staff and of course Ivan (and his many dogs!) very well. We loved this - Ivan could even maybe suggest group tours so guests can mingle more if they’d like. I am a vegan and Ivan went out of his way to help cater for me - he bought special ingredients for my meals which I was very grateful for! There were also kayaks and it was very easy to book tours through Ivan, such as to Sine Saloum Delta
