Perfect Island Getaway – Stunning Views & Incredible Hosts! 🌴✨ I can’t recommend Villa Mar highly enough! Located on the peaceful southern end of Koh Tao, this villa feels like a private slice of paradise — far enough from the crowds to truly unwind, yet still close enough to great beaches and restaurants. The views are absolutely breathtaking — every morning we woke up to sweeping ocean panoramas that looked straight out of a postcard. Watching the sunset from the terrace was pure magic. The villa itself is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. What really made our experience special were the hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, offering great local recommendations and always being just a message away. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home.

This hotel is a small family friendly hotel. Rooms are spacious inside and outside. Comfortable beds as shower. Outside you have a big terrace with lounge chairs. Perfect to see the sunrise or sunset. Everyday the room is cleaned and in the afternoon you will get fresh watermelon. The owner is very friendly and he will help you with everything for a very good price. We arranged our motorbikes, fishtail and some taxi boats which were great! The swimmingpool is big abd very welcoming after a hot walk or ride. Overall this hotel is very family friendly, no noise at night and great place to stay as a family because the bungalow are quiet big!

We stayed in the smaller villa of the three and it felt so homely but with plenty of space for our baby and toddler to play. The pool and views were spectacular. Real paradise. Loved Steve and the 24/7 car service and I mean 24/7. We had friends staying in the other two villas and made it so much easier getting around especially with lots of kids in the group.

Absolutely beautiful spot on a beach that is lovely, diving instructors excellent, so much so we sent our kids put with them for a trial dive, we are a trying family and they were very patient with us, flo was our dive master, he was brilliant, the food was delicious and nothing overpriced, drinks ect, lots in the area, 7/11 next door i loved it here.

Stunning views from this hilltop location. Staff were unfailingly polite and helpful at all times during our stay. If you have kids then the 2 pools will clinch the deal. The restaurant has an extensive menu and the food is excellent. The adjoining rooms for a family of 4 were enormous. They also have a pool table and table tennis table to keep the kids amused. Ao Tanote beach is a 5 min walk down a steep hill but worth the effort for the superb snorkelling around the rocks in the middle of the bay and around the sides.

The staff were wonderful and so friendly towards our kids. The location was absolutely perfect for us - the pool is right next to the restaurant which is right on the beach. Our room was close enough to what we needed and far away enough from the noise from local bars. The beach was so clean and perfect for our young family. We ate a few times at the restaurant - it never disappointed and came with amazing views, atmosphere and fire shows from the neighbours!

The staff is so welcoming and friendly. Our family loved our stay here. We stayed for 2,5 week and if we could we would have to stayed longer. The food and rooms are really good and clean. It’s a sandy beach and really comfortabel for children as the sea is really calm and shallow. They are amazing with children and our son had the time of his life here, wouldn’t want to leave. We will definitely recommend and come back. Special thanks to the receptionist for the thoughtful gift for our son. Thank you, you all are amazing.

Great beach in front of the resort with plenty of shade and snorkelling opportunities. Lovely view from the room. There are a few restaurants and scooter rental places nearby. Keep in mind that the room is fan only and there is a 1000THB deposit in case of damage. It's a family resort so there could be a few kids around. Brilliant value for money.
