We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Jeannie’s Plaashuis this past weekend while taking on the Tankwa Trek, and what an incredible experience. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable—fresh ice and clean towels every day, even taking care of our mud-covered cycling gear, which was a lifesaver. Her kindness and hospitality truly set this place apart. And the peacefulness of the farm? Unmatched. Waking up to the stillness of nature and unwinding in such a tranquil setting made the entire experience even more special. Had such a lovely, peaceful stay in the Shiraz cottage. The best host, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. From firewood to recommendations. It was quiet and private, lovely views of the mountains and close enough to Tulbagh for some wine tasting. Would 100% go back for another visit!
