Wonderful experience seeing kangaroos, cockatoos, cicadas and honey eaters in the backyard. Option to have a fire. Host provided detailed maps for hikes and local sightseeing. Biking and hiking trail outside. Adventure Cafe and Punjabi restaurant within walking distance. Great shops in town including fudge shop, travel information centre, grocery shop, ice cream shop and public swimming pool. Great place to explore The Grampions Mountains. The host, Tim is available next door and makes beautiful furniture, puzzles, and other wooden products. The bottle of wine was a nice surprise.

El Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park está a solo 5 minutos en coche del parque nacional de Grampians y dispone de piscina exterior climatizada. La piscina caliente es un plus. El recinto es muy bonito. Ver a animales salvajes nos gustó mucho. El personal de recepción super amable.

El Halls Haven Holiday Units está situado en un terreno de 4 hectáreas y cuenta con piscina, pista de tenis y servicio gratuito de alquiler de bicicletas. We stayed in one of their Tiny Houses and it was such a wonderful experience! Their Tiny House was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a night’s stay — plus waking up to the stunning view of the mountains and seeing the animals in their sanctuary was pure bliss. Having Mr P the Peacock right greeting us at our doorstep was sucha pleasant surprise! The entire property was so peaceful and it was sucha great getaway from the city. I would stay here again if I’m ever revisiting the Grampians!

Southern Grampians Cottages se encuentra en Dunkeld, en la región de Victoria, a 6,3 km de Mount Abrupt. We chose this establishment because it is so close to the Grampian Park and not in the middle of the crowded section. Their are two nice hikes close by and if you walk from the cottage the extra 2 miles add to the hikes themselves. The property was quiet, had some basics like oil and salt and pepper, cold water, coffee and tea. The chocolates were a nice touch. The town of Dunkel also provides a few nice options. We chose to buy groceries and eat our meals in the cottage. This gave us the feeling of home in our cozy little cottage. We made a fire each night and cooked out on the grill. The bed was comfortable, the spa tub was fabulous and the TV had Netflix. There was wildlife a few hundred yards away such as Kangaroos and Emus. This was the perfect place for us.
