For us as a big family, the most important thing was that the place is spacious, very clean, and furnished with modern furniture. We couldn’t have asked for a better resort to enjoy the beauty of Borneo. The property grounds are lovely and well maintained. The food provided is delicious and plentiful. The staff always greet guests with a smile and are eager to assist them with their activities for the day. The ocean surrounding the resort is absolutely beautiful. They also have a well-maintained jungle pathway that is a must to hike and explore. This is definitely a resort we will return to again.

El Mulu Marriott Resort está situado en medio de la vegetación natural y exuberante de la selva, cerca de la frontera entre Malasia y Brunei, junto al río Melinau Paku, en Miri. Amazing place, with excellent service, staff are great and helpful, rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the restaurant is very good. I loved it and we'll be back.

The house is way prettier than the photos: it's very clean and authentic. We had dinner there for a very reasonable price and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. The breakfast included is also tasty and was very big: they serve two plates, one sweet and one salty, to accommodate different tastes. Everything is cooked in house.
