Boutique & Design Hotel Volkshaus Basel features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Basel. This 4-star hotel offers room service, a concierge service and free WiFi. The property is 700 metres from Messe Basel, and within 300 metres of the city centre. The service was impeccable, no request was too much for the amicable front office staff. The beverage station on every floor was a great touch. Previous reviews mentioned the sound of church bells to be disturbing at night, but we found them to be soothing and not inconvenient. Loved the design concept running through the hotel and we look forward to exploring their sister properties.

Business Apartment Turgi is set in Turgi, 29 km from Swiss National Museum, 29 km from Main Railway Station Zurich, as well as 29 km from Bahnhofstrasse. We liked almost everything. Loxation is not best but good location to go to Zurich or other places since train station nearby. Also there is a river just next to the apartment.. We liked very much apartment , there is nice coffee, tee and so on. Also the host was very friendly and informative.

What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.
