For guests with children, the apartment features outdoor play equipment. From the moment the reservation was made, Steph was very friendly and kind. He was always in touch and answered me all the questions I had prior my trip and then when I got to Switzerland and also when I got to the apartment. I walked from the train station (it is a long walk if you are not used it or if you have luggage) to the apartment. It was a very nice uphill walk with great views and nice cafés around. Steph also was in touch during my stay and it was always available to answer questions. Check out was smooth, all easy. The apartment is a 5 Star apartment, completely clean with all that you need for your stay. An ALDI is 1 minute away from the apartment and that is a very good thing to know! Overall it was a fantastic choice.

Overlooking Lake Zurich, this historic hotel in Meilen is only a 15-minute drive from Zurich. The Hirschen am See Hotel offers a restaurant serving Swiss and international cuisine. The covered terrace and the Mediterranean garden overlook the lake and the mountains. Great waterfront hotel. We had a nice room with a beautiful view of the lake, large bathroom, clean comfortable beds. Staff are wonderful! Best breakfast and fabulous dining area, beautifully decorated. Short train ride from Zurich HB main station to Meilen station, then you can walk to hotel (10min. walk) or take the 925 bus just outside the station to the bus stop just before the hotel (Obermeilen stop). Quiet area with not too many stores or restaurants but easy enough to get a train wherever you want to go.
