La cena y el desayuno fueron ricos y completos, recomiendo totalmente quedarse una noche acá antes de hacer la caminata al Quilotoa.

Hostal Doña Clarita Inn se encuentra en Chugchilán y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Algunas unidades disponen de balcón y/o patio con vistas a la montaña o al jardín. Great value. We had a two-level, two-bed room with dinner and breakfast for about $38. It was very clean and spacious. Nice common area with a stove to dry clothes and tea and banana bread and cookies. Good food. They were really helpful when we realized one of the dogs hanging around was actually owned by the owner of the hostel we stayed at in Sigchos. They took care of him until his owner showed up.

Cuscungo Cotopaxi Hostel & Lodge tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y bar en Chasqui. Everything! This lodge is the only place to stay if you’re coming to Cotopaxi. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The meals were fantastic, the fire place is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the hot water is hot, the location is easy to get to via local buses from Quito, the day tour to Cotopaxi is great and affordable and the property is quiet. It ticks every box!

Hostal el Vaquero tiene vistas a la montaña y está en Chugchilán. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar, jardín, terraza y zona de juegos infantil. I rarely give 10 points but this place deserves it! yes it can be chilly at night, yes it is in the middle of the countryside (so you need a car to reach it) but the kindness of the owners are exceptional! My son got altitude sickness and the owners did their best to cure him + they helped us finding accommodation in other part of Ecuador without hesitation (since our mobil didn't work here). The dinner and the breakfast are tasty, fresh homemade and plenty. The same applies to the breakfast. The garden of the house is beautiul and well maintained and there is a nice panorama over the canyon. Quilotoa lake is a short drive from here. The hotel has turkish bath and sauna but we didn't try them at the end. The wifi is strong. :)

Hostal Taita Cristobal se encuentra en Isinliví y dispone dejardín, terraza y restaurante. Este alojamiento, que cuenta con servicio de habitaciones, también ofrece zona de juegos infantil. We are still blown away by this hostal. It was so nice to arrive and see this amazing view, and chill in the hammock while having tea and reading. Nice and big chilling area downstairs. The rooms are big, the breakfast was outstanding. When they serve the dinner, everyone comes to the table and talks about the hike and their journey. Everything was perfect. Just book it!

Rondador Cotopaxi está en Chasqui, a 49 km de Parque Metropolitano del Sur, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Rondador was like being at home, everyone was kind and welcoming, the hotel is very close to Cotopaxi National Park, and Fernando and Francisco are super helpful in helping you organize your stay. If you have time, it's better to stay here and experience the local culture than to do the day tour from Quito! Thanks for your hospitality.

La Cabaña de Ciela con jacuzzi y minigolf ofrece jardín y bañera de hidromasaje, además de alojamiento con wifi gratis y cocina, en Latacunga. El alojamiento tiene bañera de hidromasaje. The house was very comfortable, and the hosts were very thoughtful. They gave great instructions on how to locate the property. They delivered breakfast the following morning, and it was delicious.
