The lake of Kastoria is 150 metres away. It was our stopover on our way home but appeared to be a very comfortable and happy stay. The hotel is just great, very high standard, old fashioned in the best meaning of this word.

Breakfast was excellent and the owner of the hotel, who personally made some of the food, stood there and explained what was on the table. We visited the hotel shortly after the storm Daniel hit greece, and the hotel staff sat on the phone a long time to get information from the police if the road we were taking to our next destination was safe.
