In the heart of the most beautiful parish in Jamaica - green and lush Portland. Frenchman's Cove, Blue Lagoon and Boston Bay Jerk are minutes away. (Don't forget the exceptional rafting on the Rio Grande). Close by and nestled on the edge of its beautiful bay, is Port Antonio a town with a real mellow and welcoming vibe. So much to see. Ask around for 'Rock Bottom' and he'll give you the best deals on authentic carvings. Spicy Hill and it's substantial garden is surrounded by a festival of tropical trees and climbers. Great amenities, everything you could ask for. A soothing and restorative tropical treat for the soul. The staff were amazing. Maestro Denny, brilliantly cooked up any traditional dishes we asked for - a tropical treat for the tastebuds. Very helpful for all our needs - escorting us to the market, recommendations, booking stuff, sorting out any travel issues. Literally nothing was a problem. Keith - attentive, helpful, softly-spoken, always smiling, a lovely character - even fixed a wheel on a suitcase! Karen - discreetly keeps the place tidy and clean and a welcome place to return home to after a day out in the sun. A humble character and a beautiful soul. We had the most amazing time, all 7 of us - every day laughter and fun and experiencing something new and different. Richard - you have a great crew there, hold onto them. I can't recommend Spicy and this unspoilt corner enough! Appreciation sent from Richard, Carmen, Ni, Maxwell, Joely, Rachel and Scotty.

A walkable distance to Boston beach and places near it. Alfio himself is a great guy with a lot of travel experience, which shows in his incredible hospitality. And thanks Althea for sharing your herbal tea! Boots, the cat is one of the laziest day-time sleepers you'll ever meet :D Great internet connection and perfect if you're remote working, I would recommend to book long stays here! And then the highlight of staying here - the food! Alfio has magic in his hands! Some incredible Italian food with a touch of island fusion here and there! I kept coming back for food even after moving to other places :D Thanks for everything, Alfio! See you again!
