Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Was very good all around with everything taken care off. You have plenty off amenities in a beautiful location with amazing staff. It had a shuttle from the train station and everything was convenient. The place and onsets are beautiful and the food was great.

Yumotokan está muy bien situado en el barrio de Ogoto Onsen, Otsu, a 16 km de Templo Enryaku-ji, a 17 km de Monte Hiei y a 19 km de Templo Shoren-in. Ample facilities, with alot of restaurants and onsens. Very helpful staff and always ready to help.

The check in instructions and directions were clear and correct. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and had all the amenities for a group of friends staying at a location for multiple nights and wanted to cook instead of eat out. The washing machine, bath, toilets, kitchen appliances, everything was top notch and had clear easy directions in English and multiple languages for all the guests. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and spotless, everything looked very new. For the location, we walked to the canals, the ropeway, la collima, and the JA market and stores. Kikis bakery and café was delicious!!

YURURIBASE 凛 -LakeBiwa, Nagahama está en Nagahama, a 11 km de Green Park Santo, a 11 km de Estación de Maibara y a 23 km de Santuario Taga-taisha. Very clean and spacious apartment in a central location. The hosts were very helpful. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

The house was exceptionally clean and well equipped. What was most impressive, however, was how responsive the host was. The host responded almost immediately to every email inquiry I had about the property. I would highly recommend this house to people who are visiting historic and lovely Omihachiman.

GuestHouse去-来-現Ko-Rai-Gen se encuentra en Nagahama, a 37 km de Castillo Hikone, y ofrece bicicletas gratis, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento y jardín. It is a nice apartment in a garage loft. The space is spotlessly clean and neatly arranged in a "modern Japanese" style featuring tatami mats, futon beds, shoji doors etc. The host, Asami, is incredibly polite and accommodating. She quickly responded to my messages, picked us up from the train station and never bat an eyelid in response to our "on-the-way" chaotic planning. Asami's husband runs a small buddhist temple. It's very serene and open for the guests. You can also opt in for a guided tour, which we did and liked very much. The bicycles that they provided us (for free!) were very useful for exploring the surroundings. We visited Mount Shizugatake and the Nishino Tunnel. The former has splendid views; the lift was closed but it was a very pleasant walk. Regarding the tunnel: it's good to know there are actually two tunnels, the original and the modern one. This made it very easy to split into two groups (... the Adventurers and the Cowards ...). One great surprise was the Cherry Tree Alley leading to a shrine not far from the Shizugatake lower lift station. We thought we had arrived in Japan too late for the cherry blossoms, but here they had this late blooming variety that allowed us take lovely Sakura photos at the end of April!
