Featuring a shared lounge, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk are offered. This was a very positive experience. The room (end of the corridor) was plenty big enough for the two of us, allowing us to pack the three suitcases we had before sending them to the airport. Laundry facilities were clever, as you could see on your TV when a machine was available. Cleaning staff were exceptionally helpful - one day we asked for extra water as we were thirsty, and the lady remembered the following day as well. Reception team were professional but still friendly - you always get a better vibe in Tohoku in comparison to Kanto, in my opinion. Also, there was a microwave available near our room, which enabled us to cook proper meals when we weren't eating out. The bathroom was really nice, too - unusually spacious.

The Breakfast was very excellent! we are very enjoying stay in here. The location was good. The room was clean and comfort. overall was good. kids very enjoyed hotspring! and free ice cream after hotspring was made them happy! Thankyou.

The room has big floor to ceiling window overlooking the city. The hotel was very close to the train station and restaurants, bars and convenience stores. The functional space were nice, clean and beautiful. It was very good value for money.

Lovely greeting, room was spacious with beautiful Tatami mats. Comfy futon, quiet location, bath was fantastic, easy walk to all the attractions of Matsushima. We were taken to the station as it was raining by owner..amazingly friendly. Great stay in a traditional Japanese Guest House.

The hostel has ski-to-door access. The warm and cosy atmosphere as you enter. The social area is just right before and after a days skiing. You feel welcome and at home particularly as you can use the kitchen area. Rio greets you and he is amazingly helpful, kind and considerate and will go the extra mile to serve you well. Great value for a hostal style accommodation in a ski resort. The bunks are double size with warm blankets. The bath downstairs is a welcome retreat after skiing if you don’t fancy the 7 min walk to the local onsen. Well worth it. Check which one with Rio. Note it shuts at 7 pm but the baths in the hotel remain open. Rio has an array of beverages in his bar and restaurants are easy. Just go nextdoor ! Thank you for your hospitality Rio.
