Great all inclusive especially for beer enthusiasts. The room had a lot of space even with the futons laid out. We enjoyed the open air bath in the room and the private onsen. The meals were fantastic especially the dinners.

Describe de una manera práctica el estilo de vida japonés, en el cual tratan de ir siempre un paso adelante, siempre fijándose en los detalles para que uno esté a gusto durante sus días de estancia. El personal es muy atento, instalaciones impecables, cómodo y muy lindo. Los baños termales son maravillosos, es una maravilla llegar después de un día a este baño y relajarse. Muchas gracias!

Petit Resort Hotel Der Barte es un alojamiento de 3 estrellas que se encuentra en Zao Onsen, a 8 min a pie de Estación de esquí Zao Onsen, y que dispone de jardín, restaurante y bar. It’s easy to go skiing or snowboarding. The lift is just next to the hotel. The hotel owner is kind and funny. I have a great experience here.

El Hayamakan sirve comidas tradicionales de varios platos y cuenta con baños termales cubiertos y al aire libre. The property was very luxurious, clean and just very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and tried to accommodate with what ever I needed. Even with the language barrier they did everything exceptionally without any issues. The food was amazing also. The dinners especially were one of the major highlights for me. I tried so many new dishes and they all tasted amazing. Being locally sourced also made if that more delicious. The room was also amazing as I had my own private onsen.

Great hot springs variety. Great service, lots of extra services for free. Full of history, yet super reasonable price.

Mama, the owner, welcomed us so warmly that we felt just like at home. We particularly loved having dinner and discussed with her.

Tsukasaya Ryokan se encuentra a 12 km de Acuario Kamo Aquarium, en el barrio Yutagawa Onsen de Tsuruoka. Of all the hotels and ryokans I stayed at during my two weeks traveling Japan, the night at Tsukasaya Ryokan was by far my favorite. Mrs. Shoji personally came out and greeted me at my taxi. From that moment onward, I felt as if I was receiving an experience personalized just for me. After showing me to my room, Mrs. Shoji informed me of several local attractions (parks, shrines, temples, etc.) that were lovely to visit prior to returning for dinner. Every moment of the stay felt thoughtfully crafted and authentic. The food was delicious, containing many dishes that I had never before experienced. The onsen, while small and enclosed, was at just the right temperature and left my skin feeling the best it has in years. The design of the structure was charming and authentic (as best that a foreigner like myself can judge). The staff were friendly and accommodating.
