Fantastisch guesthouse met superfijne kamers, alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt zijn aanwezig. Zelfs een keuken waar je kunt koken en gratis kop koffie of thee kunt zetten. Supervriendelijke eigenaar die bereid is je met al je vragen te helpen. Had voor mij vroege surfles geregeld, waardoor ik ontbijt niet kon nuttigen. Kwam later aan de deur om ontbijt te brengen (helaas was ik er niet). Locatie perfect! Mocht je naar Arugam Bay komen sla dan dit guesthouse niet over!

Absolutely stunning, private, peaceful and relaxing. Our whole stay at Blue Water was perfect, the cabanas are cute, clean and spacious for couples. We couldn’t fault anything. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the team decorated our room, what a lovely surprise on entry. Although there is no air conditioning, the fans in the room are sufficient and the cabanas are designed well with openings for a breeze. Rinos is amazing, he was so attentive and looked after all of our needs. He’s really friendly, a pleasure to meet and an excellent chef. Sudha and Dinosan are both phenomenal, they make sure the whole area around the cabanas are pristine, they take so much pride and leave patterns in the sand for guests. There is a good variety of food, the fresh juices are so tasty. We had breakfast and dinner most days and Rinos catered for our tastes. The beach is private and only a few steps away, most days we were the only ones there, it is paradise. At night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Thank you Blue Water you made our stay unforgettable.

Stay Golden is gelegen in Arugam Bay, op 3 minuten lopen van Pasarichenai-strand, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een buitenzwembad en een tuin. My time at stay golden was amazing. The staff and the owners were extremely helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. The location is great, close enough for a short walk to the surf spot but far enough that you don't get caught up in the loud nightlife. The room was big, clean and modern and the bed was super comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended and I'll be coming back for sure!

Aqua Blue heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Arugam Bay. Aqua Blue is right next to the beach, like 50 m away, and in a more quiet location. If you go to the main street, you can sometimes see the 'local' elephant in the marsh nearby. The place is clean, has AC and everything you need, even a hammock to chill in. Basheer is always there to help you with pretty much everything you need. The breakfast is very good and the cappuccino, one of the best in Sri Lanka. I totally recommend Aqua Blue!

The design is so thoughtful — six cozy cabanas surrounded by nature, a beautiful pool, and the best mango lassis we’ve had in Sri Lanka. What truly made our stay unforgettable were the owners — a kind and welcoming Swiss couple who made us feel like part of their family. Their warmth, love, and attention to detail created an atmosphere that felt both homelike and magical. We loved being in this quieter corner of the coast, away from the busy center of Arugam Bay, where you can still surf, spot elephants by the beach (yes, really!), and reconnect with nature.

Absolutely stunning beach front hotel, pool was great with the kids, the chef was incredible - every dish was super tasty. We loved the outdoor chilling area and bean bags. Rooms were very spacious and stunning views of the ocean. And it was so close to the hustle of Arugam Bay!

Eastern Bay ligt op 3 minuten lopen van Arugam Bay Beach en 4,1 km van Muhudu Maha Viharaya, en heeft kamers in Arugam Bay. I am incredibly impressed with the outstanding customer service at this establishment. While traveling for work, I had to take public transport and required a very late check-in at 4 AM. Many other places either refused me or tried to charge for two full days, even though I was only staying for a few hours. In a last-minute decision right before boarding my bus, I booked this hotel and explained my situation. To my relief, they immediately agreed to my request without any hesitation or additional fees. When I arrived in the early hours of the morning, everything was perfectly prepared for me. The place itself is lovely, with a unique touch: each room has its own private outdoor seating area complete with a sofa, table, and even a ceiling fan. On top of all that, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of town, making everything easily accessible by foot. I can't recommend this place enough, especially for their wonderful hospitality!

The Swiss Bay Hotel is set in a truly beautiful and naturally serene environment. Staying here brought us great joy. The staff were incredibly kind and took excellent care of us throughout our stay. We definitely wish to return to Swiss Bay Hotel again in the future.

They helped me book a night bus from Colombo to Arugam, stayed in touch with me 24/7 until I got on it, constantly checked if I needed anything, and truly cared about my comfort.
