Going to sleep at night was blissful listening to the sounds of the forest. Chilling out here is so easy, but book early as there are currently only three lodges. Highly recommended.

Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

We left for our safari early so sadly did not get to try breakfast, but were very satisfied by the room, and appreciated the warm reception/ extra care the staff gave to our family! While there was no common space (think motel style rooms that spit out onto a outside porch) we were only there one night and it suited our needs well. The safari company was able to pick us up from this location so all worked well.

The vehicles are perfect for photographers and wildlife lovers and the guides are very knowledgeable and will do the impossible so you don't miss your chance at seeing leopards, bears and elephants. Highly recommend

Arachchi Heritage carries sentimental values and heritage of essence of Sri Lanka. If you are looking for a place to stay which you can connect with the environment and oneself , Arachchi Heritage is a place you must consider. Definitely will come back when we visit Sri Lanka next year.
