Family hotels and homes in Kandy District

The location was excellent and a very good sized and clean room, with a stunning view to wake up to!! Isuru arranged a driver to collect us from the airport. Thishara then arranged the best tuk tuk guide/driver to take us around Kandy. The kids loved the tour! Great for families.

Very welcoming kind host; staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great views. We had a family apartment at the top of the villa, felt private & safe, ideal for families with children but we also met younger travellers and an older couple who were all happy too. Lots of good food options close by. Short walk to the lake.

Amazing homestay with a lovely family! We felt welcomed straight away into their gorgeous home with a cup of tea. The views are very nice and great location for cafes/restaurants. We had a home cooked meal which was delicious, the best mango curry and sambol we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Room was very comfortable. It helped having the host’s cousin pick us up from the train station in his tuk tuk and show us a few of Kandy’s sights at affordable rate. Would definitely recommend for a lovely homestay experience!

We were a family with two young children. The staff were so welcoming and kind. The food in the restaurant was first class, as was breakfast which had a range of western and Sri Lankan dishes. The reception and waiting area was comfortable and welcoming. We would recommend this place to anyone, particularly families.

The place was really comfortable and safe. The commode in the washroom had an attached baby seater which was really convenient for my son. Good to stay with family and kids.

It’s a great place. We hosted lot of our family over at the hotel. Large rooms. It’s great if you have small children under 5

we stayed one night. We were the only guests and it’s a bit outside so we were alone in the evening. Which was fine of course. The Owner picked us in Kandy and brought us next day back which was very helpful (family with 2 kids). We could make our kids dinner (could use the kitchen) and when we figured that we bought the wrong sauce (spicy) the son drove us to the next super. The next day we had a lot of fun in the huge pool. the food was good and basic. The family is super friendly and it was really fun staying with them! thank you :)
