We had a day of torrential rain which confined us to the guesthouse. It was absolutely a pleasure to sit and read a book, watch the many birds and plan the next days. Bicycle hire was easy, and the owners generous with local knowledge.

I really enjoyed my stay, the room and bathroom facilities were very very clean and we had a great balcony where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Homemade food was delicious, and we really felt welcome. We really appreciated the bike rent that is very convetient to go visit the sacred city from the home stay. Best place to stay in Polonnaruwa according to me. The house is in the nature and very close to the temples. We had great discussions about the country and got to learn more about Sri Lankan. Our host made us an amazing rice and curry and we went on a night walk to see wild animals. We have been able to rent great bikes to visite the temples. I really recommend!

The location is convenient, just a short ride to the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa and other attractions. Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations.
