We loved this beautiful hotel, the small size, the architectural design, the location on a side street close to the beach, the lovely room and bathroom, hammock on the balcony, and the restaurant was amazing!

The courtyard, dining room, and rooftop terrace are stunning. The breakfast was incredible with so many options. The staff were amazing -- they helped us organize unique and personalized private tours and arranged bagged lunch. The location is perfect, it's right in the hustle and bustle and everything feels at your doorstep. We really loved our stay here.

The guest rooms are beautifully appointed, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The garden and especially the fish pond are delight. Location is excellent, especially for those who like to walk and prefer to be in a neighborhood away a bit removed from the noise of the city center.

Sleeping with the ocean waves in the background and waking up with a fantastic view of the sea - Zazil is like a little piece of paradise on earth. While the drive to the retreat is steep, the reward is a peaceful location far off all noise and with a spectacular view. The beach is within a 10 minute walk and way less crowded than in Puerto Escondido or even Mazunte. Christa was a fantastic host with a unique mix of Mexican hospitality and gruff North German humour, which we thoroughly enjoyed. She gave us fantastic recommendations and even took us to Agua Blanca, which is a secret spot where we had the beach practically for ourselves. All in all, it felt like being part of the family.

Samora Luxury Resort has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Santa María Colotepec. Beautiful property, the gardens are immaculate and well kept, very peaceful atmosphere. The pool is the standout feature and it’s stunning. The location is on a private beach, amazing sunsets - it’s about a 30 min taxi in to the town but once at the resort you won’t want to leave!

A haven for weary travelers in search of rest, solitude and peace. A short distance away from Puerto Escondido’s many bustling beaches for the young and restless crowds, Casa Paraiso provides a “pocket-of-paradise” feel for the mature visitors to luxuriate in its mountainside surroundings that allow panoramic views of sunrises and sunsets alike. The three gleamingly clean pools were an unexpected surprise. Larger-than-usual rooms and the extra efficient service staff added to an absolutely wonderful experience.

Villas Carrizalillo offers accommodation in Puerto Escondido. Zicatela Beach is 2.4 km away. All units have a dining area and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. It was our 3rd time in Villas and we will definitely come back again. Very beautiful place, which feels like home. Every time, I am impressed by how well everything is planned down to the smallest details and the guests’ necessities.
