Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park.

Overlooking the plains, the spacious and rustic-style chalets have a fixed structure with canvas partitions. Each is equipped with a small patio, a shower, a fan, linen and towels. The owners were so nice and helpful in welcoming us for one night. The lodge is spectacular and offers views you can’t find anywhere else in the world. The staff is also super.

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant.

The African themed rooms are fitted with air conditioning and offer views of the indigenous garden. The private bathroom comes with a shower and towels. This was an exceptional stay in every way. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The location is absolutely stunning and you can observe wild animals as you drive in. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed our meals there. There is bike rental and a nice track you can do around the area. This was a highlight of our time in Namibia.

Buffet and continental breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and fruits are available. At the campground, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in Grill BBQ cuisine. Amazing place in the desert, super friendly and helpful staff, accommodation really nice and clean. Beautiful property with roaming kettle, even some giraffes. Can recommend this place yo any kind of traveler!

Set in Hammerstein, Hammerstein Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. It was room only, breakfast & dinner was extra. A little bit too expensive for us, from South Africa, but our self catering unit was 10/10! We could braai and sit outside, nice big kitchenette and big room and nice bathroom facilities.

Located in Sesriem, 43 km from Sesriem Canyon, Little Sossus Lodge provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The accommodation features room service and free WiFi. Everything perfect and great place. On all the places that we visited in Namibia and Angola in this trip this one is the Jewel! The staff was excellent and the food - Great.

Featuring air conditioning, Gondwana Namib Desert Lodge is located in Solitaire, 60 km North of Sesriem. The lodge includes an outdoor pool and guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

Each unit is fitted with a private bathroom with a shower. Towels are featured. The beauty of the scenery where Namib Desert Lodge is situated is not possible to do justice in photos. They have some marked trails you can hike by yourself, but also arrange trips and activities. It's a 2 hr drive from Sossusvlei and, yes, they do arrange daily excursions there - a must! The staff at Namib Desert Lodge were all wonderful - attentive and taking the best care of us. The room I had was great - clean and comfortable. The restaurant had good food - game meat always part of the menu - and they have a good wine cellar. I stayed five days and really relaxed there - enjoyed sitting outside in the lounge chairs with a book and watch a group of oryx/gemsbok come by the water hole just outside the lodge, every afternoon.
