We also enjoyed the food (vegetarian options!) of the restaurant. The breakfast selection is very good and you get more options than only Gallo pinto like in most of the hotels. The staff is very friendly and we had a great time chatting with the swiss owner. The massage was very good and you can use kayaks and tubes for free.

There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was great, even so my Spanish ain’t great the host was super friendly and like to talk and help wherever he could. The house is amazing, it’s a family house, spacious and you feel like being a friend at someone’s home and not stranger in a hotel!

The decor, the vibrant colours, I felt the hard work and soul that had been put into creating this wonderful establishment. Bella is an amazing hostess. Fantastic in communication, and so friendly. I asked if she had any eggs by chance, and she rushed off and came back instantly with 15 eggs for me 😆, a very kind spirit. Thanks again Bella 😊

We love the hotel, the location, the pool and the amazing view of Apoyo Lagoon. The rooms are super nice. We had booked the suite this time around, simply wonderful. The food and drinks are excellent, too!

With mountain views, Hacienda Puerta del Cielo Eco Lodge & Spa is located in Masaya and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. My partner and I was able to have the whole resort to ourselves. We came during an off season and was pure lucky. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite and absolutely loved it. The pool steps was right at the entrance of our room. The food was really good and the atmosphere and views were amazing. We also took a couple tours; Catarina and Granada., and opted for the massages. Leaving the resort is definitely worth the trip to experience the culture. The staff also took fantastic care of us and the owner is more then helpful and very communicative. We highly recommend staying here.

Located in Masaya, 10 km from Mirador de Catarina, Hotel Ivania´s provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The accommodation offers a concierge service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. I didn't like it at all. It was the most expensive hotel I paid in Nicaragua, and it has the poorest service. The price did not go according to the facilities and customer service.
