Gateway Motel & Apartments offers a range of accommodation suitable for small groups, corporate travellers, team building and wedding parties. Location is a little out of town but only about a short walk away. It is in a sunny spot, but there is some road noise as it's near a junction although most of the time this isn't an issue. It's about a 5 min or less walk to the beach and about a 15 min walk/short drive to the Treaty Grounds or similar in opposite direction to town. Owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about places to visit in the area. Very spacious room Great shower Loads of kitchen equipment if needed

Featuring a library, it offers Wi-Fi, bike rental and parking for free. Angela and the staff were super friendly and helpful. As it happened to be a slower day, I got an upgrade on my room. Totally unexpected but much appreciated! The location of the Lodge was great and close to the ferries. Can highly recommend staying here!
