It is a really beautiful bungalow, perfect for a couple to stay. Every morning, the host greeted us with a fresh baguette and fruits from their garden. The Wi-Fi is strong and absolute stable. There is a fully equipped kitchen. We could use their bicycles anytime. Transport from and to the airport was also arranged.

Sophie (owner of the lodge who also runs it) was very helpful and an amazing host, nothing was a hassle for her. She organised for us last minute an amazing tour, which everyone else seemed to say no to. It was the best tour we’ve been on in a long time! Dinner is on a long table which makes it a nice family style. There are bikes for guests to use and paddle/kayaks all complimentary which was very nice. The beach in front of the lodge is small and we had it all to ourselves (everyone was out on excursions) which made it feel like we were in our own private little area. Thank you for the experience you have created for us!

Va'a i te Moana bevindt zich in Avatoru en biedt gratis fietsen, een terras en gratis WiFi. Sommige units hebben een balkon en/of een patio met uitzicht op de zee of de tuin. De ontvangst was hartelijk en erg vriendelijk. Rosie was steeds snel een eenvoudig bereikbaar via whatsapp en stond steeds klaar om ons te helpen. Het ontbijt was super. Deze familie B&B is vlakbij de belangrijkste diveshops gelegen en dat is erg handig. Wij hebben overnacht in de glamping tent. Erg handig dat we naast de tent gebruik konden maken van een leuk overdekt salon met frigo. Ook eigen badkamer en toilet.

Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa heeft een wellnesscentrum en een fitnesscentrum bevindt zich in Avatoru, in het noordwesten van de regio Rangiroa. We stayed in the overwater bungalow and it was fabulous. Clean, comfortable bungalow with a breathtaking view. So fun swimming off our private dock (careful at night though, we spotted a shark!). The rainshower was amazing and the bath products, so luxurious. We appreciate that the resort was smaller than others in Polynesia and not overcrowded. We liked the complimentary access to snorkeling gear and kayaks. We went scuba diving with Blue Velvet (by The 6 Passengers) located on the premises. Food was great, the buffet for the Polynesian show night was yummy! Also, if you want to stay longer after check out, they offer a “transit” bungalow to shower in. It is a pricey stay but worth it for a special occasion!

Rangiroa Bliss is as off-the-grid as you can get. "High-style" local Polynesian bungalows. Rainwater for the showers and toilets, bring your own drinking water, and solar electric (that worked most of the time). Fans and sea breezes, no A/C. No WiFi, "two-bar" cellular. Good for email, marginal for the internet. There is a "road" to "town" but it doesn't connect to the road from the airport. On a busy day, maybe six cars went by. You want to escape traffic, this is the place. Boats are how you get around. Snorkeling and kayaking right off the beach of our bungalow. Excursions to places around the atol come right to your deck to pick you up. There are some cool adventures, do them. Ilona, the host, is an excellent cook. Polynesian comfort food. Take the meal plan. Bring your own alcohol and snacks for lunch. Easy to get a taxi to the local grocery store from the airport when you arrive, if you ask. Then, taxi will take you to the boat that shuttles you to the place. Our cup of tea, we loved it. Your mileage may differ.

HINAMOE LODGE heeft een tuin, een privéstrand, een gedeelde lounge en een terras in Avatoru. A trip to French Polynesia, specifically to Rangiroa, was the trip of a lifetime for me. I had studied and researched it dozens of times before departure. I found this property on Google Maps, though information was scarce. I chose it primarily for its location - close to the ocean and not far from Tiputa Pass. I found paradise. And I wasn't expecting it. Paradise is, first and foremost, the family that hosted me: Christian and his wife. Two exceptional people - kind, welcoming, but never intrusive. They opened recently and are pouring all their energy and savings into growing this property. Currently 5 rooms right on the lagoon, with a private beach adjacent to the famous Kia Ora hotel. See my attached photos. Please note: the room is simple, Polynesian-style. If you want five-star luxury, this is NOT the place for you. But it has everything you need and more - air conditioning (extremely rare in lodges), microwave, fresh drinking water, refrigerator, etc. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom simple but functional with hot water available 24/7. With only 5 rooms, it's likely difficult to find availability. In my opinion, write directly to Christian - I think he'll help you book. On Sundays in Rangiroa, everything is closed - supermarkets, restaurants. I didn't know this. I asked the owners for advice. Shortly after, they appeared with a tray containing a wonderful two-course lunch. I had to insist on contributing to the cost. Rangiroa is wonderful. But it's thanks to Hinamoe Lodge that it became a dream.

Raira Lagon is een accommodatie met 2 sterren tegenover het strand in Avatoru met heeft gratis fietsen, een tuin en een privéstrand. De accommodatie heeft een bar en een lokaal restaurant. We went here for our honeymoon and also my husband's 30th birthday. The staff at Raira Lagon truly made everything as good as it could be for us, and made an amazing breakfast for my husband as I requested a surprise roomservice , thank you so much for this! The bungalow by the water is private , comfortable and beautiful! Daily cleaning, beautiful view, comfy and spacious bed, nice shower and bathroom. Everything you could wish for! Breakfast is good and is enjoyed with a lagoon view that is spectacular. Dinners are great and cocktails too, and sometimes they have traditional dancing shows by a local group which one should not miss! The snack by the hotel is also super great with tasty foods and drinks, so the availability for getting something to eat or drink is great always! The location is superb as it is close to the airport and in the middle of the main island , so you can easily get around to both ends of the island. Free bikes is a big plus!! And kayaks too. The staff also helped with booking excursions etc, which was very helpful. Will definitely come back when we visit French polynesia again! Thank you so much for making our stay amazing!!
