Dani and Max were great hosts, they gave us great advice and helped us organize our excursions. The place is very clean and well appointed. There is a kitchen that any one can use. There is also fresh water available. The location in general luna is great, you can go and it in a lot of places by foot. We would greatly recommand this place.

Casa Basa was wonderful! All staff are some welcoming, kind, and friendly. I rented a motorbike to use during my stay, and Mich kindly gave me a quick tutorial on how to use it. The property is a 5-10 minute ride from the main General Luna area, but I preferred this; it was so peaceful and quiet at the accommodation. They were also working to make the Starlink internet even better during my stay—this made it easier for me to get some work done. There were occasional power outages due to the island-wide power issues, but Casa Basa has a backup generator, so things were restored quickly. Breakfasts and smoothies were delicious, and the adorable dogs were also a big plus for me. It was a wonderful stay and I would love to visit again the next time I come to Siargao! The location is amazing. The hotel itself sits right up on the cliffs. If you have a room facing the ocean you can clearly see and hear the waves. It is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. The rooftop allows everyone to access this view as well and has a bar making it a great place to have a drink and watch the ocean or the stars at night. On top of all this the rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the mixture of the cement styling with the wooden features gives a wonderful contrast. Finally, the owners are very friendly, they both introduced themselves when we checked in and helped us throughout our stay, including providing contacts for surfing lessons which were great as it felt a lot less populated at the north of the island for this. Overall it is a must stay if you are in Siargao.

I loved everything about it, especially the room and the outdoor bathroom. The stuff was so helpful and very kind. I will definitley come back again.

Was good that you could eat there and didnt have to leave if you didnt want to. We loved the view and being able to play golf was awesome. Its a good technical little course. Rose who works at the front desk was absolutely amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She is an asset. The Filipino guy (can't remember his name unfortunately, maybe Deibe) who works there too is a really hard worker also, ran down in the rain to get our bags and hold an umbrella above us and kept the grounds immaculate. We will go back for another stay for sure.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, style, and easy access to everything Siargao has to offer. We’ll definitely be back!
