Jelenov breg pod Matajurem features an outdoor fireplace and a children's playground. Breakfasts were exceptional- a huge selection of many kinds of foods, mostly homemade. Dinners were delicious home cooked five course meals (or less if that’s too much). Nice walks in the area right from the farm, and lots of other fun things to do within a short drive.

This place is such a wonderfully cozy and casual place, with hosts that always greet you with a smile and any help they can offer. The location is beautiful, in the small village of Kosec near Kobarid. The breakfasts were very generous and delicious, with hot and cold foods, fresh fruit. We enjoyed dinner here one night - a lovely evening on the main patio overlooking the mountains with delicious homemade local cuisine, cooked by the mom. The room is appropriately not fancy, but it is clean and comfortable and just spacious enough. Sitting on our own private patio enjoying wine while looking at the mountains was infinitely relaxing! And they directed us to the local trail, an easy 1 1/2 hour hike, which was beautiful with many waterfalls! Great advice!!
