The beach is a 5 min walk away. There is a simple nice beach restaurant with great food and prices right on the beach or the Hibiscus hotel just behind the compound for a more "fancy" option and a breakfast by the sea for 5k a person. There is a tiny boutique on the road where you can buy fruits sometimes bread. If you don't have a car you can ask the guards for a taxi number or walk up to the main road (10min) and grab one to go to the closest superette and get basic groceries. Cap skirring is a 10min drive away with a small craft market. You can also walk on the beach to Guinée-Bissau (20min) or to Cap skirring. All in all it is a great place to enjoy a very relaxing time in Cap Skirring and great value for money. The owner is very responsive and helpful if needed. We felt like we were in our own holiday home and wished we could stay longer.
