Lovely place to stay! So calm and quiet, in the middle of the wonderful nature, yet not far from Paarl and Franschoek. The farm itself is so cute, and the house the most charming “tree-house”. Everything was truly great during our stay! Can only warmly recommend it.

It's a fantastic place with a gorgeous view!

Situated amongst vineyards, the Vrede en Lust manor house dates back to 1688 and has been converted into elegant cottages with open fireplaces. The extensive gardens include an outdoor pool.

It was an exceptional stay in a beautiful location. Small touchs made this place special by having a handwritten note and hot chocolate sachets delivered to us. The room is very nice and we had enough blankets to help with the cold.

Stunning location, loved the game park just behind, so much so we went for the game drive (recommend) and brought some binoculars! Lovely quiet place to stay, but near some places to eat and shop too. Owner was knowledgeable and really helpful too. We really want to return!
