Rustically attractive, great bakery downstairs

A very friendly hotel. Clean, comfortable and quiet. A lovely rural location with easy access to Zurich and its environs. A good breakfast too.

Beautiful location on hilltop close to Zurich with rural surroundings and great views (a drink at the terrace is highly recommended). Near hiking trails and vineyards (they have their own wine). Small (9 rooms) and exceptionally well designed hotel, the best layouts I have ever come across. Fantastic personalized service by staff. Excellent restaurant with fresh ingredients.

Location in the nice town. Quiet and rustic

Very clean room. They already had the air conditioner running so it was a pleasant temperature on a hot summer day. The front desk as well as all the staff were very polite, especially Mr Franchesco. Our cabin luggage had a missing screw so he went out of the way and fixed it for us. He's very helpful. There's a nice family room and an entertainment room to relax and unwind. Good breakfast. Happy to recommend Hotel Wellenberg.

Great value for Zurich Central - considering how expensive the city is, it was pretty good. However be prepared for shared bathrooms and a more "rustical" ambience, the benefits are the Tram 4 in front of you, and Lake Zurich, during busy Tech Events a huge bonus for work and last minute bookings to Switzerland!
