By blind luck on our part, the location turned out to be perfect: easy walking distance (to the extent walking is ever easily in hilly Manizales) from the monument at the top of Chipre, as well as the Ecoparque, and next to the Parque de Aguas, a good place to catch buses. The staff was not only helpful, but seemed intent on satisfying our needs before we even knew we had them. For example, they arranged our coffee farm tour and advised on transportation. We had a grand room with a view of sunrise over the mountains.

Beautiful gardens, helpful and friendly staff, excellent food, and comfortable and spacious rooms filled with antiques. The Hacienda offers trips to orchid farms and birdwatching tours, in addition to on site coffee tours.

The hotel is located on a farm/reserve which can be explored. Rooms were small and fit to purpose (sleep/shower). Bed was nice and shower with good pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet inside the restaurant was incredible, variety and flavors. We tried both restaurants and food was tasty. Cheers to the bar! Great cócteles 🍸

Great little rustic accommodation that is very close to Manizales. Comfortable Bed, shower with plenty of hot water. Very friendly staff that accomodated my requests.

The Main House and its setting within the gardens was exceptional. To wake in the morning and watch the amazing bird life from the veranda was so beautiful and so relaxing. The home cooked meals and friendliness of the staff made for a perfect stay. Unlimited free coffee from their farm was a bonus.

We don’t know where to begin - our stay on the coffee farm has been the highlight of our entire Colombia trip! We stayed in the main house (casa principal) for 2 nights and would highly recommend it. From stunning views, to attentive staff and excellent home-cooked food, we were blown away. Excellent coffee tour and the amazing, hard-working women who cook the meals and take care of the house were exceptional. Most likely the best food you’ll have in Colombia! Well-maintained gardens as well. Loved watching the humming birds.

The Hacienda Venecia Coffee Farm Hotel is in a beautiful location among coffee and plantain trees with lots of birds. The rooms are nice and clean, breakfast good and plentiful. The staff is extremely nice and the excursions very good.

This place is just a gem! Everything is perfect, the interior, the jacuzzi, the lovely personell (thank you Lina and Claudia), the views and the tour around the coffee farm. We just loved it! It’s great with kids (they love the jacuzzi) but we highly recommend it as a romantic get-away as well.

everything was outstanding! if the score was 100, I would rate them 100. The facilities are new and beautiful right in the middle of the coffee farm. The staff is very attentive and kind, they took care of everything from when we were not even there until checkout- the whole process was smooth.
