Search farm stays in Franche-Comté

Lovely host full of stories! On our arrival, we were received with a fabulous home cooked meal. The old house is located in a rural area, thus if you expect a luxury stay, "don't go". However, if you wish to experience a typical French experience, "Go!". We loved staying overnight on our way to Switzerland. Too bad, we could not stay a few more days!

A stunning rural location with views across the valley. Our host Michael was extremely welcoming, and cooked an excellent dinner for us using local produce. Breakfast was also delicious served on a terrace overlooking the valley. There is a log burner in the room to keep warm in the evening and the space was comfy and well equipped. A great choice if you're looking for a quiet relaxing stay with character and charm.

Independent room & garden terrace with perfect view. Excellent clean room. Bath. Small kitchen cooking possible....If we have another chance to visit notredam du haut chaple....absolutely i will visit again!!!! 😊 They own farm...sheep,two dogs,horse... Location is superb, rural but only minutes from Dole. Room & bathroom were immaculate. Staff.

Lovely rustic family room, very friendly owner who was very accommodating despite our very limited French language. Tasty dinner and breakfast. Kids loved the animals.

The host, M. Thierry, was wonderful: greeted us with a cold beer - very welcome after a long day's drive. A nice aperitif before dinner, followed by a simple, but very tasty dinner. Breakfast was wonderful - delicious local cheeses and homemade jams. Beautiful, peaceful rural location - a few farm animals to add some colour.
