Rural countryside location with excellent views over the lake with plenty of wildlife to be seen, the excellent outdoor hot tub was amazing and just like the pod it was all very clean, bedding and towels provided were also very fresh smelling and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ashcroft Farmhouse. The owner was so welcoming and stored our bicycles safely on her garage. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. We will return.

Fantastic owners. Nicola and Stuart were very welcome and hospitable hosts. I stayed 4 nights in the mobile home which was excellent. Plenty of space and very comfortable . For 21 days after I was in the farmhouse. Lovely little country style kitchen as you first walk into a warm house and a warm smile. The room was warm and comfortable , the shower had decent space and the bed was comfy. Coffee , tea and borders biscuits in your room and comfortable linen. I'll definitely try to book.back.in.here when I'm back in west Lothian.

Room was spacious and modern, staff were friendly and it was a nice little farm stay only 20mins from Edinburgh

super clean and decorated so lovely and aesthetically. the big windows being a key feature and a personal favourite as you can take in the views of the surrounding fields and farm land around. Very rural which was nice for us as we come from the city so being surrounded with the wild life such as wild rabbits, sheep, cows and donkeys was really refreshing.

We loved this traditional Scottish farmhouse! Elizabeth is a wonderful host and always ready to assist! Amazing breakfast. easy to access Edinburgh via bus.

Beautiful location. Convenient for access to the city whilst still rural. Lovely walks near by. Staff so so friendly. Gorgeous collies around the farm.

I liked the location of Pentland Farm House where it is very calm and relaxing good views from all rooms and and excellent facilities in the house
