Best place we stayed during 25 nights cycling the Danube. Full of character, super clean, great social areas. The owners are super friendly and sociable and made it a great stay. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Veca’s EkoFarm! The accommodation was spotless, and the host took a lot of care goes into keeping everything clean and well-maintained. Unfortunatly, the same can not be said for the area outside the farm’s. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep after a long day. What really stood out, though, was the host’s hospitality. He provided a warm welcoming with Chinese tea ceremony and apples, other staff (a young couple) went out of their way to ensure we had everything needed, including goat curd (surutka). We very much appreciate their helpful local tips, it truly felt like a home away from home. I can’t recommend this place enough!”

We had a family trip there, the staff were very welcoming, they waited for us at the dock to walk us to their place, helping us with the luggage. The property has a beautiful and well maintained courtyard with a playground and trambuline for children which we enjoyed. The rooms were spacious and very clean, having everything we needed. The open areas (restaurant and terrace) were also spacious and clean. The food was also amazing and plentiful, madam Nicoleta and her staff made sure to appeal to all our needs, even when the child that was with us wanted to eat something other than fish, they didn't mind preparing a separate dish for him. She also helped us get into contact with local guides to take us on different trips. It was a great experience overall, would definitely recommend her place any time. And I can't stress this enough, the Delta and Easter specific dishes were really delicious, we couldn't help our selves from them, from the soups to the stuffed cabbages(sarmalute) and the deserts.

The photos don’t do it justice—this is one of those rare places that looks even more impressive in person. The host was exceptional, and the food was outstanding, surpassing Michelin-star quality. The price offers incredible value for money.

I came here for a solo writing retreat. It was really perfect - lovely and quiet, very clean and comfortable room (extremely comfy bed). I would love to come here again. Breakfast is continental - ham, cheese, jam, some veggies and bread rolls. I also asked for a boiled egg and they were happy to make it for me every day. As well as lovely coffee. The service is really wonderful. Honestly if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax or get some work done, away from the hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful place to stay. The garden was absolutely lovely. Only thing to note is that I used public transport to get here, and it's a bit out of the way.There's a bus (but not very frequent) that brings you to the bottom of the hill from the property. The nearest grocery store is about a 40 min walk away if you don't want to wait for the bus. The owners were very nice and gave me a lift to the train station on the day I left - as it was a Saturday and the bus wasn't running.
