As soon as we arrived we found a cute list of things to do and places to see ! the breakfast was so cute with always something sweet made by them ,when I asked for almond milk the next day it was there and this meant a lot ! if you love a quiet place in the middle of a reserve this is the place ! in all Tuscany it was extremely hot but there the weather was so cool and beautiful ! The hosts also did a private cooking session for me and my daughter that was sooo much fun and a memory that we will cherish forever !We will come back for sure ;)

We hebben hier een geweldig verblijf gehad, op korte afstand van Lajatico waar wij het concert van Andrea Bocelli bijwoonden. In dit appartement, dat gelijkvloers en op de begane grond is, ontbreekt het je aan niets. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig van wasmachine tot oven, van vaatwasser tot strijkplank. Er is genoeg kastruimte en serviesgoed aanwezig evenals een grote koelkast met diepvries. Alles was uitermate schoon en fris. Het bed was voor ons iets minder comfortabel evenals als de bank in de woonkamer, maar dat is heel persoonlijk. Elisa is heel hartelijk en staat altijd voor je klaar, je hoeft haar maar een Whatsapp te sturen. Het terras is niet groot (heb je met 2 personen ook niet nodig) en is redelijk privé. Vanuit het zwembad heb je een prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving. Rustig gelegen, gratis parkeren.

Beautiful location located in the valley below Volterra. Rolling hills, cypress trees, vineyards...everything you would expect from a Tuscan farmhouse experience. The rooms are "rustic" in an authentic sense - they don't feel modern or luxurious. Simple, down to earth and comfortable (bed, pillow, towels all good). The hosts are helpful with whatever you need. We did a wine-tasting of their wonderful products - highly recommended! Very friendly family!

The place is close to other towns and cities in range of 1-2h drive, has pretty views, local food and a pool. It's pretty close to nice beaches, around 15 min drive. Everything was great: the hospitality and kindness of the hosts, the food they served for breakfasts, their homemade products (olive oil, preserved vegetables, yummy marmelades, liquers) and all their efforts to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We were served a delicious dinner one evening including antipasti with local delicacies, pasta, wine, desserts and coffee. It was also possible to buy their olive oil, homemade marmelades and preserved vegetables. I recommend their artichokes in olive oil! The hostess Simonetta made us feel like home, she treated us with a glass of limoncello from time to time, bought vegan milk just for us, has offered a bike for my child and was so kind to even give her a little farewell present! Don't even make me start about the place itself. Imagine yourself sitting on a terrace, sipping wine and enjoying wonderful tuscan view on one side and having a pool on the other. Everything was clean and well maintained, all the plants and blooming flowers around, lots of places to rest outside and enjoy a book or a conversation. There was also a little playground for smaller kids and a swing for older ones. The owners also maintained chickens nearby, and hearing a rooster was a nice touch to the overall countryside vibe. I think the best compliment for this venue is the fact that many Italian guests were staying there. We've rented a small house for 3-4 guests including kitchen and a folding bed for 2 ppl downstairs and a bedroom with a king size bed and a bathroom upstairs. The air conditioning was working fine. We had also a terrace under a roof with table and sunbeds. The pool was available few meters away. It was very clean, with sun umbrellas and sun beds available and you could enjoy a stunning view from the water.

Our apartment was beautiful- spacious, comfortable and so charming! Modern-day convenience with old-world charm. The property grounds were very well kept and the views were stunning. Giulia was very helpful with suggestions and directions. And they are building a restaurant which will be very convenient.

An excellent authentic Italian Villa at the foot of the Pisan mountains that had beautiful views and rural calm but which was also close to the outskirts of a small town/village. A good range of shops, restaurants and villages were within a short walk. The area offered something for all the family - good food, museums and historical sites, walks in the beautiful mountains and plenty of spaces to relax in, including two well maintained pools. We got around using local buses, trains and taxis, which were cheap and mostly reliable. Travel to Pisa and Florence was straightforward. The site manager, Lorenzo, was very friendly and met us on arrival and at our departure. He was helpful throughout the stay and responded promptly to queries via text messages. All in all, an excellent, relaxing experience.
