Lovely place to stay! So calm and quiet, in the middle of the wonderful nature, yet not far from Paarl and Franschoek. The farm itself is so cute, and the house the most charming “tree-house”. Everything was truly great during our stay! Can only warmly recommend it.

This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

One of the best spots we've stayed at in the Western Cape. We had high hopes for this farm after reading the reviews, but even those didn't do it justice. The sprawling grounds had so many surprises--from the little fountains in the dam to the giant chessboard to the quirky hiking trails to the multiple pools, hot tubs, and fire pits. Our cottage (Pale Chanting) was compact but cleverly laid out and comfortable. It was so relaxing and we were sad to leave. This would be a phenomenal spot for kids, OR a girls' or guys' trip, OR wedding, OR a romantic honeymoon.

This place was even more than we could have hoped for. The cottages where so cosy and beautifully decorated. Johan and Wanda are lovely hosts and we loved the whole farm life. A place to go back to.

The venue is even more beautiful then I could’ve imagined from the pictures!! The views are stunning, the pool area is so chill and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is airconditioning, a fan and the bed is huge. We really loved it here, I hope to come back one day :)
