Located close to Bergville, Dalmore Guest Farm offers accommodation with an outdoor pool and water sports facilities. Complimentary WiFi is provided. The location is wonderful. Set close to Drakensberg, it is great for hiking and bird watching as well as simply enjoying the time at the Guest farm. Delyse and her team have made our stay very very comfortable. When our parents had issues with using the bathtub to shower, they were given a different, much better room at no extra charge. Dinners and drinks are reasonably priced and the quality of the food is amazing with the meat and the eggs coming from the farm, etc. It was especially lovely to celebrate New Year’s Eve with other guests at Dalmore Guest Farm with Delyse working well beyond normal work hours to make sure everybody was having a good time.

We had a wonderful stay at Mziki Cottage on Penwarn Farm. The cottage sleeps seven (2 rooms with double beds, and a loft with 3 beds). It is perched it a lovely little valley and overlooks a dam that teems with birdlife. The view is great, with the majestic Drakensberg mountains in the distance. Inside, the cottage is beautifully appointed and has everything you could possibly need. Each bedroom and bathroom has its own heater, and the lounge is just as cosy, with a fireplace that warms the entire living area. One of the bathrooms even has a jet bath - perfect for a long soak after a day outdoors. The staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The cottage is serviced daily, which made it feel like a real break. We especially loved the verandah, where we spent hours just soaking in the view with a coffee or glass of wine in hand. There's a great braai area and even a ready-to-go bonfire -stacked with wood and just waiting to be lit. Honestly, every detail has been thought of. We didn’t want to leave!
