Booked this hotel last minute because our flight was canceled at the last moment. London was too far to go back to because we had an early flight in the morning again. Wanted to end the nice weekend with a nice hotel. And that it was indeed! Beautiful surroundings, beautiful hotel. Would never of thought of it - used to staying in London - but this is definitely something to keep in mind for the next visit. Beautiful rooms, good service.

We stayed after our wedding and the team made it truly magical with special touches to the room. The breakfast is excellent and service overall was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful to go for a walk. The atmosphere in the hotel and grounds is relaxed and very peaceful. Beautiful building in a very convenient location. Staff were fantastic (at front desk and in the bar) , and could not do enough to attend to your needs. Upgraded my room upon check-in.
