The staff at the Ritz Carlton is excellent -- professional, friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. We had breakfast at the Ritz, a late night hamburger in the "bar" area , and ordered room service -- one the best BLTs I have had. Food and service were first-rate. I also used the workout facilities which were spotless and presented many options -- treadmills, bikes, weights

the hotel was very clean and nice ,just i found horrible san francisco as a city. the hotel didn’t advise us that is dangerous to walk in some areas and by mistake we went directly there. It was super stressful and dangerous as there were so many homeless people which was looking like zombies, they were all drunk or on drug and the whole situation was super scary .The hotel is in safe area but i believe they have to advise the guests to avoid these dangerous streets .

Great hotel with a fantastic breakfast. We did not try the restaurants. Pool is much smaller than the pictures suggest, but sufficient.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. Also, they helped me to ship my luggage bag which I’ve forgotten to my home country and they called to tell me that my bag was still in the room and they kept it safe for me.

The room was roomy enough, had a comfortable bed, nice shower amenities and the location of the hotel is great! Close to Union Square, lots of good restaurants (Matador - Mexican, Pinecrest - 24hr diner) and bars (John Foley's, The Irish Bank, Zombie Village). Loved the Beat Generation vibe of the hotel and the cool decorations and quotes around the room, hallways and lobby area. PLUS the attached BlueStone Coffee shop has a great cold brew!
