Somer House couldn’t be more perfect. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully furnished in a modern but authentic way. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Even though it’s in the middle of Somerset West, you feel like you’re in the middle of nature, thanks to the very big and beautiful garden. It’s the perfect base if you want to visit wine estates (Vergelegen is super close by), golf terrains (there’s a very nice golf course next to the guesthouse) or numerous nice restaurants.

Warm and efficient welcome! From arrival until check out, this establishment exceeded our expectations. You will not find better value for money in this price range. The roads are really quiet in the evenings to ensure sound sleep. The pool is in immaculate condition, but sadly, we didn't try the putting course. Lola was really friendly and deserves a treat! We spend five nights here and it felt like coming home. The warmth and care of Michel and all staff made the entire experience incredible. The property is beautiful with amazing views. Breakfast is great, as are the wines. Rooms are beautiful. Can't recommend it highly enough.

It is a perfect place with the most kindest and hospitable people. The wines are phenomenal, with great tastes, beautiful wine-tasting rooms and very knowledgeable and kind wine experts. Amazing food and in general a beautiful place to walk around and be a part of the estate for a few days! Best stay!
