Superb location, right in the historic centre of Ghent. The staff were so welcoming, so friendly and very helpful indeed. Our room was luxurious and the beds were very comfortable. I don't normally sleep well in hotel beds, but I did here. The room was very clean and the toiletries were really nice. The breakfast was great too. Easy to park, and the car park was fine, not too cramped if your car is normal sized, and you have spatial awareness and know how to drive and manoeuvre it correctly.

Superb location, outstanding facilities with excellent communication from the hosts. Everything was clean and had a well equipped kitchen. We didn't realise the washing machine and dryer were not included in our booking, but once we contacted the hosts, they were happy for us to pay a small €15 fee to access the locked laundry. Having a lift/ elevator up to our level was such a great bonus.

Just wow: Gorgeous location, carefully restored building, beautifully designed rooms, friendly staff - everything deserved 5 stars! The room is spacious and offers lots of perks, the bed was comfortable, the double sink and spacious shower made even the banal routines fun and exciting, the Guerlain cosmetics are also a nice addition. The "Honesty Bar" is very beautiful and inviting, even if you decide to stay drink-free. from small gestures, like the welcome pralines, to the grandeur of the location - an experience worth having!

I liked everything about this hotel. It was the most hospitable, comfortable and high standard place in its class that I have ever experienced. I was a little unsure about it but had my expectations exceeded. The suite was spacious and totally fit for purpose for a degree of self sufficiency but with all the 5 star options if required. I have no hesitation in recommending the Residence Inn Marriott Ghent.

The villa was immaculate and the furnishings of the room were superb, everything had a luxurious feel to it. The shower in particular was excellent. Annelies and Filip are perfect hosts and I will definitely be back if visiting the area again.

Breakfast was outstanding and the staff were extremely helpful. The lady at the front desk provided excellent recommendations about sights to see and places to shop. Rarely have I seen such exceptional service!
