In general, this hotel is out of this world, if you’re into nature and peaceful vacation no matter how long this is the place to be! Not really far away from the seaside, Rovinj or Umag, great restaurants in the area also, everything was perfect really.

Everything about this property was stunning. The accommodation was divine, the food delicious, the pool and beach both being a perfect place to enjoy the gorgeous weather. The staff were outstanding.

We initially planned to stay three nights at this exceptional hotel – but since we enjoyed it so much, we spontaneously extended our stay for another four nights. We travel a lot and consider this property to be one of the best boutique hotels we have ever experienced. The location is unique – peaceful and idyllic in the countryside, perfect for relaxation. The rooms are luxurious and tastefully decorated. The entire estate impresses with its elegant atmosphere and beautiful pool area. Dinner is a true delight: individually prepared with fresh ingredients, some of them from the hotel’s own production. The welcome is warm, and the service is outstanding. You can feel the owners’ passion, enthusiasm, and genuine friendliness in every detail – qualities that money simply can’t buy. Anyone looking for tranquility, luxury, quality, and heartfelt hospitality will find it all here. We can wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful place.

The staff are extremely friendly, polite and also good fun. Love the breakfast, so much on offer I couldn't try everything. The hotel owners also make wine, which is served at the hotel, pleasantly surprised as I've never tried Croatian wine before. The food is excellent in the restaurant, the octopus salad is a must, the ceviche incredible with home made bread served at wach meal. Wonderful service too. The secure underground parking was a huge bonus, even for a large SUV with a roof box, plenty of space. The room we had was big enough for the 3 of us, lovely comfortable beds and a partial sea view. The hotel is brand new and in a peaceful location on the sea front, a short drive away from Pula town centre if you want to enjoy a vibrant town centre. There is a local boat hire facility a short walk across the bridge into the Marina where there is also a restaurant and bar. A boat tour is a must, even for a few hours (negotiate on price) . Ask for Ivo, very friendly young man and capable skipper.

The team at San Tomasini was absolutely lovely. The breakfast was the best we had in Istria and the service matched. It felt warm and inviting, like you were being welcomed into someone's home, while also feeling like a luxurious getaway - hard balance to achieve, but every detail felt intentional. Couldn't recommend more.
