The location was ideal. Situated right next to a quiet park with beautiful temples. Within walking distance of many famous Kyoto sights and close to a train station. We were immediately greeted on arrival with a nice tea service while they checked us in. The lobby is gorgeous and peaceful. Were really liked the layout of the hotel with separate wings for the rooms, lobby, and onsen. The onsen was relaxing and very clean. Comfortable rooms and a great attention to detail.
