BYAKU Narai se encuentra en Shiojiri, a 34 km de Parque Takato Joshi, y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, parking privado gratis y bar. The whole establishment is tastefully and authentically presented. My room was beautifully fitted out. Dark stained timber and white linen; all kinds of amenities including coffee grinder and green tea equipment. Personal bath is temperature controlled; shower facilities and toilet are excellent. There is also a onsen style bath at the main accommodation block. (There are 3 buildings). Location is around the middle of long heritage restored shopfront street. I elected to include dinner in the tariff. Dinner was 'omakase'/degustation and was delicious. As a solo traveller I sat at the counter (always my favourite place) and loved the interaction with the dedicated staff preparing and serving the courses. I also elected for drinks pairing which was very tasty and also a learning experience. It is listed as four star but it exudes luxury of great simplicity. I travel budget level in most places but am happy to pay more for traditional or special experiences, This is why I rated it a value for money. I also got an excellent 'genius' discount. Very convenient for hiking the Torii pass on the Nakasendo Way,

The Happo by HHG está en Hakuba, a 7,9 km de Estación de esquí Tsugaike Kogen, y dispone de alojamiento con restaurante, parking privado gratis y bar. This place was incredible!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The shuttle service was very helpful for coming and going from the train station and to various activities. The onsen was clean and relaxing. There was laundry available for use. Games outdoors and indoors. Just amazing.

Shoraiso se encuentra en Yamanouchi, a 4,1 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. We had a great stay at Shoraiso for our honeymoon in December. Service is unparalleled and the staff are doing above and beyond to make us feel like home without being intrusive. We love the elephant decor of the room and the beautifully landscaped garden, and the private onsen is definitely the highlight of our trip. Breakfast and dinner are included and the food is just exceptional (very tasty with fresh local ingredient and creative presentation). The location is quite convenient - 45min train from Nagano to Yudanaka station and hotel is just a few min drive away (the hotel can arrange pick up). Monkey park is quite close (around 15min taxi away). Overall we couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

Fufu Kyu-Karuizawa Seiyou No Mori se encuentra en Karuizawa, a 25 km de Honmachi Machiyakan y a 3,8 km de Estación de tren de Karuizawa. The hotel is small and quiet; the room is large and most importantly have a private hot spring. The food was excellent and staff very friendly.

Fufu Karuizawa Yokou No Kaze se encuentra en Karuizawa, a 19 km de Honmachi Machiyakan, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y restaurante. The foods tasted better than it looks, pictures failed to justify the flavor. The room is just giving a different vibe and energies. I love the robes and winter coat provided, they are light but amazingly warm!

THE HIRAMATSU KARUIZAWA MIYOTA se encuentra en Miyota, a 10 km de Honmachi Machiyakan, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, restaurante y bar. The hotel is surrounded by pine forest with incredibly fresh air. Rooms are spacious, there’s an onsen inside, and everything is spotless. The staff think ahead and handle every request with care. Every evening they light real fires in the lobby and outside, which creates a special atmosphere. They also have their own farm, so vegetables served at breakfast, lunch, and dinner are fresh and delicious. Staying here gives you a real sense of Japanese philosophy of cleanliness and order.

SHISHI-IWA HOUSE Karuizawa está en Karuizawa, a 20 km de Honmachi Machiyakan, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. La belleza arquitectónica del lugar y su armonía con el entorno son maravillosas. Igualmente su personal y la propuesta gastronómica de su restaurante Shola hicieron de nuestro paso por Shi-Shi Iwa uno de los mejores momentos de nuestra estancia en Japón. No entiendo la gente que puede decir algo negativo, creo que tienen un problema de expectativas o no entienden la naturaleza de la propuesta de este hotel.

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. 1. Great location! Bus stop is literally right outside the hotel. Bus around Karuizawa tourist spots are outside. It is also literally at the entrance of the old Ginza street which has great snacks. If needed, the hotel can also drive 5 mins to the Karuizawa station where you can do all the shopping at the outlet. 2. Great staff. Very polite and very helpful 3. Good breakfast. 4. Comfortable bath area at basement.

The entire stay was absolutely incredible. The service, the free shuttles, the food, the scenery - all staff members went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, comfortable and taken care of.

HOTEL LA VIGNE HAKUBA by Onko Chishin está en Hakuba, a 9 km de Estación de esquí Tsugaike Kogen y a 43 km de Estación de Nagano. Beautiful accomodation, with fantastic views and incredibly attentive and helpful staff. Can’t recommend the hotel enough!
