Every detail, from the stylish furnishings and abundant greenery to the fresh citrus scent that filled the air, was meticulously curated and absolutely breathtaking. The genuine care and joyful guidance from the staff made us feel not just like guests, but like welcomed friends. ​Our Suite and the Hotel Grounds ​Our suite was simply fabulous. It was a spacious and beautifully decorated sanctuary, where every detail had been carefully considered. The room's design embraced the surrounding nature, with green views from every window that paired with a cool breeze to truly enrich our souls. The suite included a full bar, a large, well-maintained bathroom, two balconies with seating areas, and a luxurious lounge with a large smart TV. ​The bed was a dream of comfort, and even the mosquito net was so elegantly designed that it blended seamlessly into the decor. An extra bed provided for our daughter was just as comfortable, and the bathroom was fully stocked with robes, slippers, and all the necessary toiletries. The rain shower, with its strong water pressure and warm water, made every wash a refreshing experience. Thoughtful touches like an iron, an umbrella, and an electric room warmer were also provided, showing the staff's dedication to our comfort. ​Stepping outside the suite, we found a huge lobby with multiple indoor seating areas and shaded outdoor spaces.

From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff made me feel incredibly welcome, offering a smooth check-in experience and ensuring I felt right as I am a solo traveler. As soon as I stepped into my room, I couldn’t help but smile— it was far more beautiful and cozy than I had imagined. The room was spotlessly clean, well-lit, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essential toiletries. And, to my surprise, it was the only hotel I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka that provided slippers, which was such a thoughtful touch! Small thing but it made a difference. The bed was so comfortable that I genuinely considered extending my stay for another night. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after exploring the area. What truly stood out was the exceptional level of service from the hotel manager, Mr. Farham. Despite my late check-in, he kindly opened the sauna and pool just for me, even though they were about to close. It’s not every day you come across such hospitality. The GRE, Mr. Paul was so nice and very accomodating. Additionally, the breakfast at High Garden Hotel was exactly what I had been hoping for— delicious, varied, and filling. It was the perfect start to my day of sightseeing. All in all, High Garden Hotel exceeded my expectations with its high standards, attentive service, and great value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya. Thanks to all.
