The Sri Lankan curry and Sri Lankan breakfast were incredible and the portion sizes were huge. The added extras were a bonus such as the complimentary 10 minute massage, the welcome drink, afternoon tea and mocktail with dinner. The location was perfect for safari. The staff were so accommodating and friendly!! The attention to detail at this hotel was fabulous, we could not understand how they manage to keep everything so clean and pristine but they do. We both agreed that this is one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had!!

The penthouse where we stayed offers a spectacular view, the large terrace is a wonderful place to sit, and a few floors below is the restaurant with really delicious cuisine. We often saw the chefs picking herbs and salads from their own garden. So: everything is fresh and delicious. Special thanks to Asanka, who really knows no problem and always finds a solution, Thusith, who looked after us so lovingly and took us on the most beautiful tours into the jungle, always in a good mood, and Nevika, the best masseur and yoga teacher (on the roof with a view in the morning). But all the staff were also always smiling and so friendly. A magical place you won't forget.

At first we were a bit sceptical because we felt like the only tourists in that hotel but it turned out to be an amazing stay. The breakfast there was the best breakfast I ever had. They always made fresh pastries and fulfilled all our wishes. They even gave us there motorbikes free of charge. The general manager Mr. Thushara was always here for us and in general the entire personal was very kind and welcoming.
