ゴルグーリョ・ガヴィナスビーチから1.8kmのSavoy Palace - The Leading Hotels of the World - Savoy... Absolutely deserves to be in the list "The leading hotels of the world". Stunning design, top architecture and the most beautiful plants everywhere! We loved our spacious room with a sea and swimming pool views. Very professional and attentive to all detailes stuff. The most beautiful skyroof terrace and swimming pool ever! All restaurants serve great food for reasonable prices. We travel the world around and this amazing hotel could manage to surprise us!

Recently awarded as Europe's Leading Design Hotel, the luxurious Vine Hotel is located in Funchal and offers a fusion restaurant with stunning views, a Wine Therapy Spa, and a rooftop infinity pool. I liked how central it is to go to the main city and departures to all the attractions. And the staff, the staff was superb. A special thanks to Jorge that breaths professionalism and kindness, what a star!

With 400 meters of private sea front, the 5-star property offers spacious rooms all with balcony and views of the Atlantic and the Deserted Islands. Location - tranquility - view from the room - marvelous pools - natural shade by a variety of trees (no umbrellas needed!) - friendliness of staff - cleanliness of facilities - sumptuous breakfast with fresh food - ample parking space for rental cars - truly a five-star hotel with excellent value for money

Set within extensive gardens of various subtropical trees and a banana plantation, Quinta da Casa Branca - Small Luxury Hotels of the World features a boutique hotel and an elegant manor house and... The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the service standard was very high. Exceptional breakfast. Beautiful gardens. We also liked very much the location - very close to the center, but very quiet at the same time.

Situated atop a natural peninsula, The Cliff Bay provides panoramic Atlantic Ocean views and private sea access. The location was really exclusive, as one of the few hotels with direct access to the ocean. The employees were nice, accommodating and really professional, it didn't look like they were smiling just for the sake of it. The whole hotel radiated a very sophisticated impression. The food was at a very high level, both in terms of taste and quality.

Casa Velha do Palheiro Relais & Chateaux is a 5-star manor house hotel situated in the old Palheiro Gardens in the foothills of Funchal. We loved the hotel’s rural setting, high above Funchal, its old world luxury, and the quality of service offered by the staff. Best of all was the direct access to the extraordinary adjacent Palheiro garden. A very special hotel.
