Awesome location, right next to the Urangan pier with amazing sunrises on your doorstep. It’s hard not to be a morning person staying here - I was up early every day to watch the sun rise (and set) on the seafront. The walk stretches along the beach for a few kilometres and it’s really beautiful - you might even spot some turtles or dolpins here! Staff couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful at Oaks. They were truly such a pleasure - a special mention to Manuel and Emma. Incredible apartment, beautifully decorated and a huge space with gorgeous balcony. While I didn’t swim in the pool (I was on tours during the two days I stayed), the outside space is fabulous.

I loved Hervey Bay Backpackers ! It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great facilities and special perks such as the possibility of a shuttle. The staff were helpful and friendly. I adored Rosie the Possum!
