From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The warm and genuine hospitality of the staff made us feel welcome immediately, as if we were old friends rather than first-time guests. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely outstanding – fresh, flavourful, and clearly prepared with love and attention to quality. The spa treatments were exceptional, and the personalised care and attention made all the difference. The rooms were spotless, cosy, and elegantly decorated, blending modern comforts with a charming, homely feel. If you’re visiting Saas Fee, don’t miss the opportunity to hike one of the beautiful trails back to the hotel – it’s the perfect way to enjoy the stunning scenery before relaxing at the spa. Where to start? The place is a little island of peace and quietness in the middle of a forrest. At the same time, it is extremely close to the village (15 minutes walking distance). In addition, there is a private transport service organised by the hotel, which was extremely convenient for skiing. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They go the extra mile to make your stay nothing less than perfect, and do so while creating a very personal atmosphere. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which offers a very good selection of local and European dishes, and the wine selection is exquisite. Even though the rating of the WiFi on this website is a bit lower, the hotel fixed this convincingly by providing you with a wifi receiver to take to the room. This fully solved any issue that might have been there in the past, since the wireless internet worked perfectly.

The location of the Montela resort was near the bus stop " unter den Berg " in Saas Grund . The friendly staff and the whole place was just amazing . Very clean and in the kitchen you have everything you need . Even cheese fondue and raclette pans , Nespresso machine ( with a few Nespresso capsules ) ,tea bags , olive oil and balsamic vinegar . The included Saastal card was very convenient .

Nice clean, big and comfortable apartment with a kitchen that has the necessary stuff if you want to cook. The surroundings were really beautiful for hiking and chilling. We went with our dogs and they had a blast exploring. We also used this as a base to explore Zermatt. Although Tasch is a 45 minutes drive from here, we didn't mind it.

Stayed with my 3 kids for skiing for 4 days. Non fussy and family friendly. Complimentary afternoon tea was what we really enjoyed after skiing and were we got to relax at the fire and enjoy a game of chess cards and the use of their baby grand piano, next time we will be taking our practice sheets. Staff were just lovely. We will be back. Great value over all
