A beautiful older hotel in a quiet location, though very close to central Elgin. We loved the decor - it’s a genuine manor house with lovely period furnishings. The lounge is very beautiful, yet unpretentious. We were sorry we had only 1 night there, and would stay here again. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast - with good coffee and delicious haggis. We are now converts

We liked the fire and the decor and layout of the barn. The owners thought of everything you would need for a short break.There were plenty of extras to start you off, including some local whiskey and fresh milk.Would definitely book the barn in the future
