The charming little farm with an amazing view has a wonderful outside whirlpool with magic lights. We loved the wide choice of breakfat which Kelly brings on a tray right to your room - which you also could have outside in the big gardens. After having spent a great day in the surroundings we were able to have cake and tea/coffee from Kelly's"Tea Bus - just simply lovely. Our host Kelly is a very warm-hearted person with a great personality. From the very beginning we just felt very welcome, laughted a lot together and partet as friends. We will definitly hear and see more of each other and recommend this wonderful piece of land.

It was very warm and welcoming at the end of a long day of hiking. The building and the location are both spectacular, and are worth a visit just for those. The hostel was fully functional with kitchen and Laundry. We stayed in the double room, which felt more like a hotel. Toilets and showers were clean and functional.

We are so glad we chose to stay at Thistle House rsther than take the easy option of staying in one of the bigger hubs around Loch Lomond.. Sue and Avril are the most delightful hosts. Very welcoming and accommodating. Great breakfast. Not to mention their stunning building with its spectacular view back across Loch Fyne. We had to leave before usual breakfast time and they were even able to arrange a lighter earlier breakfast for us before we left. Look no further for your most peaceful stay in this stunning part of Scotland.

The cottage was immaculate, spacious rooms with plenty of towels and blankets. Hot tub and fire area were excellent, lovely views. The host was available for any issues, not that we had any. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back!

Breakfast was lovely and I so enjoyed the silver teapot in the table. Food was hearty and hot. Service was great. The Hamilton room was gorgeous. Loved the high ceilings and it had the best shower on our entire 9 day trip around Scotland and England. Ground floor room easy access to the car.

Ideal location on the banks of Loch Lomond. Kitchen fully equipped, including ice in the freezer, this is always a bonus!! Lodge and hot-tub were warm, clean and comfortable, all in all a 5 star accommodation.
