it was a stunning little cottage, very quiet location on a farm with the owners living next door. no bother with them at all. very helpful on place to visit. lovely watching the sheep lambing. also got to pet one in the barn shed where they had to keep one warm. all one level for disabled people my mum enjoyed her stay. my dogs loved the little garden over looking the fields on the farm. the beach's was stunning one of my dogs loved running about the beach's. car parked right infront the cottage door.

Lots of space, all the facilities we needed,very clean, great location. They put up a Christmas tree and left us tea coffee milk biscuits and Prosecco upon arrival at no extra cost.

Very comfortable, clean and everything we needed for our stay. Modernised but has kept it's country cottage character. Sadly the weather was awful but the cottage was warm and cheery. Centrally-heated but the log fire just made it that much cosier. And having some basics like tea, coffee, milk and biscuits is a lovely touch.

The welcoming Wheatsheaf provides peaceful accommodation and award-winning food. It is located near Berwick-upon-Tweed, Coldstream, Duns and Kelso.

Staff / management very courteous and polite. Made us feel welcome and appreciated. Felt like the people care and in the small details too. Food was delicious. Would come here again if in the area.
