Stunning location in the midst of mountainous countryside with amazing views from the balcony. A great deal of wildlife - birds and monkeys - within a few feet from our balcony. The room was excellent with a really good shower. Spotlessly clean. The couple who ran the hotel are very lovely and arranged an excellent trip to a tea plantation and transport to our next destination. The housekeeper was lovely and kept our room spick and span. She also led onto the river which was a tricky route. Nothing was too much for her.

Amazing location and views nestled away from main crowded munnar area. Fairly easy to access by car. Excellent design, style and amazing views of mountains, forest, lake, tea plantation. Very polite and caring team who looks after us. Sadiq was great.

This is one of the most beautiful and kind places that I have ever stayed in. The food is delicious and nourishing and some of the best I’ve had in India, the surroundings are stunning (don’t miss out on the 4 o’clock walk with Ansel, an extremely knowledgable nature guide who obviously loves sharing what he knows). All the little extras - such as free chai in the afternoons and bonfire night - makes this place truly unique.

We had the best possible experience in our stay in this wonderful place. The peace conveyed by the environment, the food, the facilities... everything is absolutely perfect.
